Baby daily diet - is this about right?

I had a baby born early. He is now 9 and a half months, but should have been born later making him really only 7 and a half. I'm wondering if what he's eating is typically what a 7 month old would be eating or a 9 month old? Here is what he ate today: Breakfast - 3 tablespoons of porridge oats mixed with 100ml formula and a small banana mixed in(he left 7 teaspoonfuls). Lunch - 1 piece of cod, 1 medium potato and 2 handfuls of spinach mixed with formula and water to puree. 1 fromage frais. He ate everything. He also drank some baby apple juice. Dinner - 1 sachet of Ellas Kitchen baby food (7 months) of which he ate all, and some pureed pear with baby rice (he didn't eat a lot of the pudding - just a few teaspoonfuls). He also had some apple juice. Offered rice cake as finger food but wasn't interested. He also had 2 7oz bottles and three quarters of another 7 oz bottle.

What is Semolina Exactly?

Does it contain starch or is it starch or what? Because I'm on a No-Starch diet and was wondering if I can eat Taystee Wheat porridge and this cereal's only ingredient is Semolina.

Would ladder racks be able to be removed from a truck bed?

I've been looking into buying an older work truck lately, and I found a decent little work truck for the ranch, but its got ladder racks. It looks like the ladder racks were added on after they purchased the truck, so in that case, would they be able to be removed?

I am military and have been dealing with pain from two bulging discs in my lower back since Easter.?

First it started with a numb leg with sharp shooting pains and tingling and pain, then my foot started hurting when input pressure on it, the military sent me to a neurologist that said I have meragia prosthetica which is associated with obesity (I'm 110 lbs) pregnancy and diabetes which I don't have and sent mr for an MRI. MRI showed slight bulge in l4 l5 and l5 s1 which wasn't significant enough to do anything about. Since then it's gotten so much worse my back is killing me feels like a truck has ran over me. They next sent me to pain mngmnt which said he couldn't diagnose me and that I needed a full neurological work up so I went back to base and they out in a referral to a teaching hospital which needed two weeks to decide I'f they would even take me so then I went back to dr on base and found out they denied me, so now my dr on base says he don't know what to do that I need to find a neurologist and he'd out the federal in for me. I'm at my wits end and in extreme amount of pain they won't give me any meds since I had disc fusion in dec and have been on lortab since which don't work at all and I feel like the military isn't helping me. I can barely walk can't work lost my job over this can hardly make my bills and don't know what to do! Please help! What can I do next, I'm a military dependent and I don't know where else to go went to er twice and they won't do anything either just sent me away. I just need out of pain. I can't sleep I'm starting to get ( sorry graphic) constipated now and I'm totally lost I think it's gotten worse but they won't do another MRI. Please any advise would help thanks

Does this sound like a good Trinidadian breakfast menu?

hello all. im from NYC and my hubby is from trinidad. tomorrow's his birthday and i want to put together a surprise breakfast of Trinidadian foods for him and invite a few of his close buddies. the menu thus far is coconut bake, shark, fried okra, cornmeal porridge and milo to drink. does all of these items work well together? should I change, omit or add anything else? are there any other ideas for a breakfast that I could put together? please all suggestions are welcome.

Car dealerships screwing people!?

my dad was going to buy a vehicle from teh car company and he got tricked into buying two vehicles and they told him the deal was not final that he had to come back today and he had his dad co-sign for it and they put the truck in his dads name instead of my dads. he went to change his mind today about buying the vehicles after talking to my mom and realizing how stupid he was and they are now not letting him go back on that deal. idk if you'd know anything about this but is there a way he can go back on it? they fed him a big line of crap and tricked him into buying a f250 and a mini coup. so when he went to take the vehicle back today they told him if he left it on the lot thats considered repossession and they will file it against him. are they aloud to do that???

What type of wiring setup should be used for 2 kicker cvr 12s and a 1500 watt kicker amp?

I have 2 kicker cvr 12s in a box to fit my truck and a Kicker ZX1500.1 1500 watt amp. I bought a basic amp kit with 8 gauge wire in it because i was clueless, but figured out that its too small. What kind of wiring setup would be the best with these subs and amp without messing with the alternator? If I had to do "the big 3" upgrade, whats the easiest way to do it? Is there a different way to wire it all up without having to do the big 3 upgrade or what? Please explain examples and maybe add a diagram or video to the sources also. Thanks!

Eating too little but not losing weight?? HELP Please?? diet plan?

This is going to sound really counter intuitive, but eat more. When you don't eat enough, your body does everything it can to hold on to as much energy as possible, because it thinks it's going to starve otherwise. It's an issue with metabolism. You should eat at least 1500 calories a day. What your eating might have an effect too. Don't eat porridge in the morning. Too many carbs. Unless you're going to eat breakfast and then go work out right away, opt for a high protein and fat meal, rather than high carb.

what you ate is ok... but the calories are a little high for the amount of food you had. 1550 is not a lot but you did not have all that much amount wise of food. and you should eat veggies for a balanced diet. You have a lot of yoghurt which could be replaced with something more nutritional. If you dont like veggies put a little sauce on it to cover the taste. to be a healthy weight you should be a little closer to 140 (120 is low 140 is target and 160 is high). But you are not fat at all.

If you wanna look "good" then you need to workout on top of it. Also you need to cut out caffeine, sugar, and carbs. At least for a week or two then you can start going back on it.

Why did my truck just stop running the switch turns but nothing?

Whooo one prob at a time, lights don't mater if it dont'run. It "cranks"but will not start..You are looking at a fuel or spark issue. It has enough fuel^, was it raining or wet, (water intrusion in ignition-spark- system). ok, fuel pump or distributor prob. Put your ear to the back of car at the fuel filler cap, have some one turn the key on (all the way to start, but don't start) you should hear the fuel pump Humm, Whine for 2 seconds, if not pump or relay.Under the hood is a single wire, all by itself, just there hanging out it has a lill connector on it - like it's supposed to be plugged in to something. Well, with key on take a piece of wire and stick it from battery poss to the end of wire, if pump runs, replace fuel pump relay, if not running, Have fuel pump replaced. Ok, spark- pull one (don't matter) plug wire from the spark plug, have some one crank car, if you can't hear and or see the spark / ticking Have the ignition system checked out. NOW you can do these checks.. you need a piece of wire (=12in long), someone to crank the car(even this can be done by one person, just LISTEN close as you turn key on or try to crank). A bit long but very easy to figure out WHAT. Now repairing (other than relay) needs a 'shop'. Good Luck,

Sub pulls inward when it plays.?

I have 2 10" Pioneer pro series subs in my truck powered by an MTX amp. One speaker does as it is suppose to do. When the bass hits the cone comes out. The other sub when the bass hits pulls the sub inward. I checked all the grounds and other connections. I even took the speaker wires and reversed them, good cone reaction speaker wires to the bad one and vis versa. Still the same problem on the same sub. Anyone got an idea as to what maybe the problem?

You're 22 and weigh 85 pounds? How tall are you? I know you probably don't want to be judged negatively here, but I think you need to understand that has crossed the line from attractive/slim, to scary and unattractively thin. I don't know how tall you are, but perhaps you should aim for something around 100, that is still below an average slim person, but still a little more healthy than 85lbs.

What will CAMHS most likely do?

I am seeing CAMHS (Child&Adolescent Mental Health Services) in the next week. I am a teenage girl, was referred by my doctor and assessed months ago. I was diagnosed with asperger's syndrome years ago and referred for eating problems and self-harm. I later attempted suicide three times. The thing is that I really don't see what they can do - and to be honest once they see how fine I am not they'll probably not see me again!! The eating problems aren't really an issue now, I don't have an eating disorder and now I have a plan! (porridge in the mornings and soup for dinner every day, 1 hours exercise) I am not even quite underweight. It's true that I self-harm but overall I'm perfectly normal and everything I do is just a part of me! It seems to me that camhs is for people with serious problems such as eating disorders, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, and so on, proper mental health problems. My sleep patterns and eating patterns go up and down but now I'm finding balance and I'm doing a lot more. The suicidal times were sort of reoccuring, they would come and then ease off, and then suddenly come again another time, persistant for weeks, but I don't see how camhs can really do anything, and I am so okay that I don't need their help!! Honestly I'm planning to take a long hike someday by myself and I'm contemplating doing it on the day I see camhs. As I said I'm perfectly normal and do not need to see them. Should I tell them this, and with my minute problems what do you think they will do?

Breakfast ideas for a teen?

Sometimes I eat a breakfast burrito with eggs, turkey, and low-fat cheese. It's very healthy and keeps you full. It also tastes wonderful. Plz help!!! this is driving me nuts, it seems like i can go to a mall, where i live and not have any anxity at?

all, but if i were go to some place else, like another town or city, i think i would get really nervous, around people i don't know.. .. but when it comes giving a presentation say like in school, i would avoid it at all costs, because i would get extremely nervous, i would avoid going to bars or clubs when there is a lot of people say like going to a dance where it would be packed with people, and one more thing last year i went and did my road test, and before i got in the truck and saw the driving instructor i got nervous, and when i did get in the truck, my hands started to shake my heart was pounding and i ended up failing horribly... does this sound like social anxiety or can you have some parts of social anxiety but not all...also i get really nervous and my hands tremble when i have to do stuff in front crowds of people

Can a bank add a months payment to a repossession even if that months bill Isnt due?

So long story short my boyfriend and I have gone through some hardships in that last year, from getting laid off. We have fallen behind on our truck payments but have gotten caught back up and had a arrangement to pay the last payment to be completely caught up this friday. We have our truck loan with Compass bank and today we called to get the balance of what was due friday, come to find out they have placed our truck in repossession. Apparently the payment we made previously was one day late cuz the bank entered it to late in the night for them to get it same day. Anyways as angry as I am I understand the bank has the right to put our vehicle up for repossession, now my question comes into play. In order for us to take it out of repossession we have to pay a fee to get the notice off plus the balance that was still due, not a big problem except the bank is saying that the balance that is due includes next months payment plus what we were planning on paying friday. How does that work our payment isn't due till the 10th of the month, why do we have to pay next months payment when its not even up to be paid yet? Now Im pretty ticked off cuz how is that at all legal? Can someone please help i have no idea what Ima do since i don't have that kinda cash now!

I'd say you're the perfect weight for your height, even a little on the light side. And if you continue doing that routine regularly you might even want to start upping your calories (you're burning A LOT during that routine and you wont develop muscle if you cant fuel it) and working more on the nutrient content of your meals.

first off a 454 can only be a 7.4 liter, the 8.1 is a Cadillac 501. since the crate block is after market, it can have elevated compression and little to no smog equipment. i think that your best option would be to find the local referees office and take it in there and talk to them about the situation. i had to do that a while back for my car because it did not have an egr valve but that was from the factory like that.

i'm 17 and probably have some anger issues, but ill try and make this short. I went to the feed store today to pick up hay and was returning home when i noticed the car behind me on my @ss. I was about to get into the other lane when 1 of the girls- both were god awful ugly btw got into that lane, sped up flicked me off and threw a soda at my truck. I followed them for maybe 10 mins to the next stoplight. I got out my car and tried to open her door to knock her teeth out but they locked it. when she was 17 weeks old, i know people are gonna say i shouldnt have but she was drinking 9 ounces and crying when the bottle was finished so i wanted to fill her so she would be satisfied, i started giving her baby cereals every day, about 3 or 4 spoonfuls, she wouldnt drink her bottles properly , she lost interest as she was full and wouldnt take her last bottle at night so was waking up at 2 am crying, which isnt like her seeing as she sleeps 10 hours a night.. she is 20 weeks now i stopped giving her rice and she is now drinking all her bottles again, will i just wait til she is 6 months to start solids properly? and will she lose interest in her bottles again...

1989 F-150 V8, Fuel Injection, Dual Gas tanks, not getting the gas to start?

Don't drive it much, but the front gas tank has been reading full too long. Was running great, but the last few times I used it, it's been running rougher and rougher, like the gas was getting too old. When it ran real rough, brought it home quick, it died and won't start now. It's not getting the gas. Electrical is fine. At the end of trying to start it I do get "the buzz" sound. I changed the fuel filter and nothing. Man, I miss carburetors -- I had more control. Can't take it to the mechanic-- spent enough already getting somethings fixed and putting it up for sale. I need a plan of attack or my husband is going to junk it. It's a good truck with only 87,000 miles on it. Help!

New Military wife. I'm so bored, what to do?

My Husband is in the Army and we are stationed in Fort Stewart GA. I'm a stay at home mom and wife. I was going to get a job at the day care center on post but someone ran a stop sign on post and hit my husband and totalled his truck(he is fine thank God). So we are down to one vehicle and he needs my SUV to get to work and back and now me and my son are stuck in the house. I only have one friend down here but she doesn't have kids so its sometimes hard to hang out with her. We don't have tons of money either so I'm limited when it comes to that. We have a pool in our apartment complex but my son is only 1 and still doesn't care for the pool that much only for an hr or 2 if that. I can't even go to the gym on post because they charge money for everytime my son goes into the Kids Club there. My son and I are becoming very bored and need more things to do any ideas would be great!

Will it be cheaper to drive my car and attach a trailer or hire a moving company to move my studio apartment?

I'm moving at the end of the summer to Atlanta GA from Chicago IL. I drive a 92 Chevy Cavalier. Should i rent a small trailer and drive down there or hire a moving truck. I don't have a lot but i do have enough to fill my studio. I'm not bringing big furniture however. besides books and clothes I have my daughter's toddler bed and a rocking horse from her great-grand parents. In the end which would be cheaper and/or smartest. I've called around but would like some real life experience to back up my decision.

First I am middle class. I make $70k a year and every policy that he puts forward hurts the middle class and poor. 1)Taking away oil companies ability to take depletion & accelerated depreciation of its assets (that is the subsidies they refer too) is going to reduce oil exploration and increase the oil company expenses. This will of course cause an increase in heating oil and gas prices. Of course since gas prices will be higher that will cause increase in trucking and shipping and another increase in airfares. So now my necessities (food, heat and gas) are more expensive and if I am able to scrape together enough money for a vacation (which is unlikley) it will be more expensive too. What your moretoreum on oil drilling did not contribute to the rise in oil enough? To top it off the new EPA regualations which is essentially the Cap and Tax law that failed in Congress not only kills jobs in the clean coal industries but will raise my electricity bill as well. Now who does these increases hurt more the middle class or the Fat Cat in his corporate jet? Second in the last few months the President has played 17 rounds of golf (min 2.5 hrs) and held 33 fundraisers (lets say all time included 3hrs each) and then scolds Washington saying he has been there bc he met with each caucus for 1.5 hrs. So that is 142hrs to 6hrs. I guess the heart of this question is how can any regular working Joe like myself defend this policy. Best answer to anyone that can show me the error in my logic.

Im taking a gap year because I don't think im ready to go to university yet! How long have you waited for Administrative Processing for US visa in China?

My fiance (Pakistani) had his interview on June 2nd in Beijing. They said it was good but then kept his passport and documents and said it will take 3 business days for a decision. After a week it took countless emails and phone calls and found out that his case is in Administrative Processing. On the U.S. Embassy-Beijing website it said that it takes 3 weeks - 4 weeks. But on other websites and forums it has taken people from different countries months or years. We have a wedding planned with plane tickets and I have five days to make cancellations or my family and I lose A LOT of money. I dont want to cancel my wedding then find out a week later that he got his visa. Administrative Processing is done by someone without a name in a place without a name. Is there anything I can do? Do hide-away strobe lights effect insurence rates in Ohio?

I recently joined a local Fire Dept that is a volunteer FD and EMS company. I will be responding to Ems and Fire calls from over 2.5 miles away. I recently bought a WOLO 4 light lightning 2 strobe kit, and am having it installed on my 99' F150. I'm wandering if it will effect insurance rates, or does it even need mentioned to insurance that they are installed on the vehicle? They are, after all, hide away strobes. They are installed in the headlights and tail lights of the truck, and don't stick out. They are only activated with the switch installed in the cab of the truck. Anyone know?

Why does my 02 dodge ram 1500 2wd will bump alot from the back if i installed new rear shocks...?

when i bought this truck the guy told me that he had lowered the back of the truck..i dont know why...so i installed new rear shocks on the back.cause he told me that was the only thing he switched in order to drop the truck from the back..i did noticed a little change of height after replacing the shocks on the back..but the bumpyness stills bad..every time i do 50mph and up it will start bumping alot i installed breand new tires also and that didnt help at all.i know its got 4 leaf springs on each side..please help any ideas???????

if it's food poisoning, it will pretty much have to work its way out of your system. you can treat symptoms with various over-the-counter meds....pepto bismol can help coat your stomach & reduce the stress. if you've been throwing up very often & there's nothing left, it maybe having spasms now & not just trying to eject more contents. pepto can help relieve that too. some people try TUMS. (it doesn't help everyone. i can't touch the stuff.) once stomach spasms stop, you can try sips of liquid...don't gulp down anything or you could set your stomach off again & toss anything you drink. you're likely dehydrating, but a stomach like yours needs to be treated gently, not drowned. the goal is to drink sips of something and KEEP it, not throw it up. try a little water, some apple juice (not orange juice) or grape juice, gatorade would be good. flat sodas can often help, nothing too fizzy til stomach settles. for the dry lips, try chapstick or lotion for now til you're no longer dehydrated. cold damp rag for your head will help with the temp. if you can stand long enough, try a shower (not cold, just a mild water temp). let yourself airdry. that may help fever until you can swallow meds & keep that. tylenol PM wasn't the best choice, since i think it would be better to keep alert until you get this under control. get somebody to help you tonite....someone who can wake you every couple hrs or so for a few sips of liquid, change the rag on your head til your temp goes down, etc. try lightweight foods tomorrow. your priority now is liquid.

sounds like they put a non smog engine in your truck, they make alot more power but wont pass e check. there are lots of different 454's but since its an 89 its injected so they might have put the right engine in but didn't hook up all the emision stuff. or it could have non emission friendly parts like a huge cam or something.

Probably, but it depends upon your activity level too. If you sit around all day, then it for sure is too much. If you are very active, then it is not enough. But it is a lot. Have the porridge or yogurt, but not both. Or a small bowl of yogurt mixed with uncooked oats and fruit. You ate a lot of sandwiches today. You only need one for lunch. Have some fruit, yogurt, or cut veggies with it to round out your meal. For snacks, have just sliced apple with peanut butter to cut back on carbs and calories if you are concerned about gaining weight.

Ok so I have a friend who drives a 1999 f-150 and he has had the truck for 2 years now never changed the oil, brakes, never did a tune up and so on. He has never had a problem with any of his trucks he's ever owned. Well I been having a 1998 s-10 blazer for a year now. when I got it, it ran perfect. I change the oil every 3000miles tune ups at 40k and so on. I take realy good care of my vehicle. Well I have so much problems with mine now. And he doesn't have a single problem. I honestly do not get how this can be lol. Its bs. I figure it's just my luck.

My 18 month old son refuses his dinner every day!?

my 18 month old will not eat his dinner and i dont no what to do!! he eats his breakfast of porridge and fresh fruit every morning no problem and he enjoys snacks of things like dried fruit, fresh fruit, biscuits, crackers, crisps (chedders) toast and he loves yoghurts but he wont eat veg! he has eaten almost ever kind and enjoyed them in the baby jars, but seems to hate home cooking! i cant afford to give him the baby jars all the time, and at 18 months i would like him to be eating the same as me and getting alot more veg in his diet, but even when i mash it all up for him he turns his nose up at it! i cant win! the only thing he will eat that i cook is waffles or chips!!! i dont no how to make him eat a real dinner! we live a healthy life style and i have introduced real dinners and veg early so i dont no why he refuses to take to it! any ideas?

Why Do Doctors In Arkansas act like Patients are Idiots?

I was referred to EVER TOUCHED my body and told me there was trouble with C-3, C-4 , C-5 and C-6 in my neck. And narrowing in 6 places of my spine. He said he could see something wrong with either my heart or lungs. There was clouding over my neck area where my neck joins my body. He never once touched my body or my spine at anytime. Told me he wanted me to have a Chest, Lung and Heart Xray done to see what was wrong. But then in the next sentence said he wanted me walking 3 mile 3 times a day. Said I was a little over weight. I know this. I have degenerative bone disease of my hips and walking across the floor is a Challenge most days. Just getting off the bed of a morning is painful. I wake up at least 3 times a night in pain. He told me to take Ibprofen for the pain. And sent me to physical therapy for some exercises for my neck and back. And they want me to get this traction device to put 20 pounds of traction on my neck 4 times a day for 30 minutes at a time. I told him I had trouble even walking 25 maybe 50 feet to my mailbox without being in such pain In my hip I wanted to scream. I got to the mailbox one day last week and almost past out from the shooting pain in my left hip. It feel like the Ball is trying to break off my hip bone or my pelvic bone is breaking. But he did not even seem to care. I asked what was causing the Numbness in my arms and legs and he basically said because I was fat and Lazy. And never answered any of my Questions. All he said was that what I have is Hereditary I got it from my mother and my ancestors. I said what do I have and he said Exercise is the key do it for 6 months to stregthen my back and then we will see if we need to do surgery. But after he said something was WRONG with the Heart or Lungs I am scared to do the exercises and or start the walking 3 mile from home. My husband is a truck driver and gone at least 16 hours a day. So I will have to walk by myself. I suggested getting a treadmill at least I could walk in the house still get my 3 mile in and be safe doing it. Where if something happened I could be by the phone to call for help. The doctor said NO walk outside and by a year I should be able to walk 3 mile in 45 minutes 3 times a day. When I was young and in Better health I could not walk 3 mile a day. I had Spinal Meningitus at 2 months old and was told all my life I would be lucky to walk past 30 I will be 50 in 30 days. I have degenerative Spinal Disc Disease. Arthritis Of the Spine and Degenerative Bone Disease. But the back Doctor Did not even seem to care. What I told him. He said do the exercises and we will see in 6 months.
