Is there banal racism against South Asians in South Carolina?

My family will be moving there as my parents, both of whom are doctors, will start their own clinic. And I will be entering my senior year of high school, so should I expect racist abuse from racists--especially in school? My parents are Pakistani, but their parents were born and now reside in both India and Pakistan. However, I am still researching all religions to identify which one is pertinent for my needs. So, will I encounter racism if I am of Indian origin and do not have a permanently affixed religion?
