What's a typical American breakfast?

Typical not dieters lol. Also, do you eat it at the table with family or not? In Australia breakfast is pretty non existent. Kids eat breakfast of cereal & toast. Sometimes in winter I might have porridge, but usually it's a coffee & a piece if fruit or I grab a muesli bar as I walk out the door. I don't know many people here who are much different. When on holidays, we tend to pay attention to breakfast more though & enjoy some bacon & eggs at the dining table all together.
